You will serve as a DATA MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (AIRCRAFT in the TECH DATA UNIQUE FLEET SUPPORT TEAM, FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST SAN DIEGO of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Job Description
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: Understanding of aircraft parts, terminology, and technical manuals to effectively communicate technical information. Using data management software to track and manage technical document configurations to organize and manage large amounts of data with accuracy. Working with different military and government organizations to order, track, and manage technical documents. Demonstrating knowledge of quality management standards and policies for acquiring, controlling, and protecting sensitive or classified data. Understanding of policies on proprietary data and foreign military restrictions. Using digital tools and systems to manage and retrieve technical data. GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: Handling various forms of technical information, such as manuals, directives, and standards in both paper and digital formats. Understanding and applying procedures for organizing, circulating, and preserving library materials. Researching and locating maintenance and supply information. Utilizing policies for handling proprietary data and controlled documents, including restrictions related to foreign military sales. Demonstrating knowledge of aviation maintenance and logistics procedures.
