Job Summary

You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND ACQUISITION DIVISON of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing status updates and addressing concerns for customers in the field (e.g. project completion, maintenance delays, etc.); 2) Making recommendations to resolve problems encountered including technical or procedural changes; 3) Approving or providing input for approval of construction contract invoices for payment, and ensuring contractors are in compliance with state and federal environmental and labor regulations; 4) Reviewing and monitoring construction plans and specifications; and 5) Assisting with maintaining the facility and minimizing life cycle costs.
