Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Attention to Detail - Is meticulous when performing work and diligent about attending to detail. Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) related experience demonstrating this competency include: ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data through the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT/OT related experience demonstrating this competency include: define cyber security requirements for new and modified systems and participate in systems design, implementation, and support in response to requirements. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT/OT related experience demonstrating this competency include: influence and persuade employees and managers to accept and implement findings and recommendations regarding conflicting policy, competing objectives, or resource problems. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT/OT related experience demonstrating this competency include: develop and apply new policy, procedures, and techniques to previously unsolvable problems and recommend solutions to influence agency cyber security polices or programs. In addition to the four competencies above, have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing leadership in Information Technology and Operational Technology cybersecurity assessment and authorization, cybersecurity programs, policy, and operations to identify deficiencies and risks, and recommend solutions.
