Job Summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST/SCIENTIST in the Cyber Warfare Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Job Description
In addition to Basic Requirements, you resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (NM-03) or equivalent grade level (GS-9/12) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a SUPERVISORY PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER, SUPERVISORY OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST, SUPERVISORY COMPUTER SCIENTIST, and/or SUPERVISORY DATA SCIENTIST. Examples of specialized experience include: (1) Functioning as a subject matter expert for managing, developing, testing, researching, and implementing cyber security controls for complex systems that include major subcomponents such as avionics, software, computers, and associated aircraft system interfaces; (2) Leading the development of user-centric interactive reports, data analysis, data science techniques, and visualization solutions (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI); (3) Providing technical leadership and guidance to Integrated Program Team Members and employees regarding a major avionics system program; (4) Overseeing and assigning work assignments to subordinates, based on organizational priorities, selective consideration of difficulty and requirements of assignments, and/or capabilities of employees; (5) Providing project/program management to meet cost, schedule, and performance requirements for avionics system project/program; (6) Formulating novel approaches using knowledge of related projects/programs/avionics systems and associated components to resolve a variety of complex technological and/or corporate problems; (7) Supervising and performing official supervisory responsibilities for assigned subordinates; and (8) Functioning as a liaison with internal and external contacts to ensure assigned program needs are addressed and program goals are met.
