You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST (COMSEC) in the FLTREADCENSOUTHWEST of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Identifying and analyzing vulnerabilities across multiple COMSEC domains and recommend corrective actions; 2) Interpreting and applying national-level security policy to diverse and sometimes conflicting operational circumstances; 3) Developing and issuing authoritative technical guidance to security personnel, program managers, and operational leaders; 4) Coordinating with external agencies and partners to ensure interoperability and protection of shared information systems and resources; 5) Advising leadership on COMSEC implications of operational plans, technology integration, and resource decisions.
