You will serve as an EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVY INSTALLATIONS COMMAND of COMNAVREG MIDLANT NORFOLK.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrating a deep understanding of all phases of emergency management, including preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation Developing, implementing, and maintaining emergency management plans at the regional or installation level Developing and delivering comprehensive emergency management training programs to diverse audiences Conducting assessments of emergency management programs, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective action Operating efficiently within Emergency Operation Centers (EOCs), contributing to coordinated response Coordinating activities seamlessly with other services, federal agencies, and installation personnel to achieve common goals Creating multiple simultaneous projects to ensure preparedness for various contingencies.
