Job Summary
You will serve as a PROGRAM SUPPORT COORDINATOR in the Strategy and Policy (S&P) Department of NAVAL WAR COLLEGE located in Newport, RI.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing administrative support such as managing correspondence, workflow, developing and implementing office procedures, and providing guidance on policies and procedures; 2) Assisting with the formulation and execution of an operating budget by analyzing historical and current-year financial data, tracking obligations and expenditures, reconciling transactions, and/or preparing audit-ready documentation; and 3) Providing travel management support using systems such as Defense Travel System (DTS), preparing authorizations and vouchers, monitoring funds, and/or assisting with resolving travel.
