You will serve as an Engineering Technician in the Public Works Department of NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE.
Job Description
This position requires a valid NAVFACENGCOM Certificate of Competency, and current Boiler Inspector license issued by the NAVFAC Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center's (EXWC) NAVFAC Boiler and UPV Program Manager. Qualifications for Certificate of Competency and Licensing are listed in UFC 3-430-07. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Inspecting boilers and pressure vessels for compliance while maintaining personal certifications. Performing technical analysis and review of maintenance issues and project documents. Conducting site visits to determine project scope and deliver effective technical solutions. Preparing preventative maintenance job-plans and reports for boiler systems. and Serving as a technical consultant and assisting with inventory management and process improvement.
