You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT/CLASSIFICATION) within IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Administering DON civilian human resources management programs; 2) Carrying out HR functions related to staffing, compensation, or classification in accordance with DON policies; 3) Interpreting DON guidance and applying laws and regulations related to the staffing function; 4) Interpreting and applying classification standards/guides to reach sound classification decisions; 5) Providing guidance on approaches to pay and compensation; and6) Providing strategic HR advice and guidance to senior management in order to execute HR plans to support the DON mission.
