Job Summary

As a Budget Analyst at the GS-0560-13, you will be part of the Budget Planning and Analysis Division, Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. If selected, you will serve as a budget analyst, performing administrative, analytical, and advisory work involving budget formulation, justification, presentation, and execution of assigned budget areas.

Job Description

For the GS-13: You must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as experience evaluating the impact of policy or regulatory changes on budget programs; applying performance requirements under the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) and the Federal Managers' Financial Integrity Act (FMFIA); conducting complex budget analysis to assess funding needs, performance measures, outputs, and outcomes; reviewing and evaluating budget submissions from program offices; and communicating budget information and recommendations effectively both orally and in writing. Merit promotion applicants must meet time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS- 13 level.
