Job Description
FOR GS-12: In addition to meeting the basic education requirements, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer: applying procedures to identify and analyze mechanical systems to modify technical design deficiencies; developing and executing corrective measures to improve system capabilities; and coordinating implementation of resolution in support of ship or submarine maintenance, alteration, overhaul or repair.
