Job Summary

You will serve as a Training Instructor in the Mariner Skills Training Center Pacific (MSTCPAC) of SURFACE WARFARE OFFICERS SCHOOL.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Instructing students/personnel in ship navigation, seamanship and ship handling principles and procedures; 2) Utilizing bridge simulators or similar ship handling simulators as instruction techniques and competency assessment methods to advance seamanship skills; and 3) Developing curriculum/training material and recommending improvements to navigation, seamanship and ship handling training classes, and; 4) Evaluating performance of students/personnel to determine effectiveness of instruction and training material NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position.
