You will serve as a SEXUAL ASSAULT RESPONSE COORDINATOR of NAS CORPUS CHRISTI.

Job Description

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:: 1) Serves as the single point of contact for command notification regarding sexual assault reports within assigned AOR; and serves as SAPR subject matter expert in interdisciplinary meetings and initiatives on the installation; and in the community; 2) Possesses experience in training and education techniques to implement and deliver sexual assault training and brief installation leadership, SAPR VAs, First Responders, and other stakeholders on the policies, practices, procedures, issues, and concerns associated with sexual assault and victim advocacy; 3) Demonstrates expertise in applying various methods typical of sexual assault victim advocate programs, including crisis intervention, situational assessment, and needs analysis to provide tailored support and assistance and evaluate risk and safety levels; and 4) Possesses knowledge of DoD and Service specific programs and structure, along with local, state, federal, and military laws; regulations; policies; and executive orders pertaining to sexual assault victim advocacy.
