You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/NETWORK) in the Security Management Department of NAVAL COMP TELCOM STA GUAM.

Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by 1.Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: resolve information systems and network problems, and provides technical assistance and advise which is used in developing long term programs and plans.2.Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. The ability for long-term strategic planning of IT and network infrastructure (5-25 years) by interpreting DoD policy and forecasting future needs. 3. Ability to analyze current systems, identifies deficiencies, conducts feasibility studies, and recommends the most cost-effective solutions. They also investigate specific network and security issues and provide policy guidance to leadership. 4. Engineers and manages military communication system projects, from initial design and contracting to final implementation, ensuring all work meets military standards and integrates with other agencies. 5. the ability to analyze customer IT requests, defining their requirements through interviews and site visits, and recommending the most cost-effective solutions.
