Job Summary
You will serve as a Shipboard Cranes Technical Specialist and Lead Systems Engineer in the Propulsion, Power, Auxiliary, Machinery Systems Department, Hull & Deck Machinery Systems Division of NSWC PHILA DIV.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer managing in-service engineering, design, development, test and evaluation of shipboard crane systems and related system/ship interfaces. Examples of qualifying experience may include: Experience with development and/or application of shipboard cranes (or similar weight handling equipment) technical specifications and standards; Knowledge of shipboard cranes (or similar weight handling equipment) design, operation, and maintenance; Skill in risk assessment; Experience with technical project management.
