Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12/13) or pay band (DP-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of an Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: 1) Overseeing real time Test and Evaluation (T&E) activities to ensure test acquisition processes, post test data requirements, testing procedures and/or facilities utilization address the critical technical areas of the T&E strategy; 2) Providing Technical direction for all the activities of T&E staff members, project engineers and personnel; 3) Coordinating test team efforts, directing test team tasking and ensuring requirements based test planning is performed in accordance with regulations; 4) Collaborating, briefing, and providing technical guidance across test teams, flight test engineers, systems test engineers and test analysts in support of complex system testing; and 5) Assisting with staffing, cost estimation, schedules, identification of test resources and facilities, and identification/resolution of test engineering issues.
