Job Summary
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST within the OFFICE OF THE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER/COMPTROLLER of NAVAL WAR COLLEGE.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing high-level financial analysis, including burn-rate monitoring, variance analysis, and identifying unobligated balances to assess an organization's fiscal health; 2) Reviewing and approving funding documents and ensuring all transactions comply with DoD/DON fiscal and internal control requirements; 3) Leading system-related problem solving for budget analysts, ensuring continuous and accurate financial execution; 4) Assisting in compiling and consolidating Program Objective Memorandum (POM) inputs, including unfunded requirements and impact statements; and 5) Developing or validating budget exhibits and justification materials, ensuring alignment between historical execution trends and future resource requirements.
