Job Summary

You will serve as a MECHANICAL ENGINEER in the PROPULSION DIVISION, ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of SUPSHIP. You will serve as an expert consultant and furnishes technical advice to field personnel such as NAVSEA, Naval Shipyards, other field activities and to HIINC design personnel concerning the intent and application of detail specification and military specification requirements.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer providing technical advice concerning the application of design specification requirements or construction procedures pertaining to propulsion machinery.
