'You will serve as a Mechanical Engineer in the EMALS/AAG Mechanical Branch (BL11200) of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) experience within the Advanced Arresting Gear System in particular, the mechanical components and their functioning within this system, 2) performing data, stress (static and/or dynamic), fluid, and/or heat transfer analysis and has knowledge of such tools utilized for analysis, 3) working with stakeholders, both internal and external to NAVAIR, to form coalitions and achieve program goals, 4) writing technical documentation and briefing complex technical issues to leadership, 5) developing design proposals and briefing those proposals to leadership, and 6) utilizing systems to design new components and capturing the design through modeling and drawing creation.
