YOU WILL SERVE AS AN INTERDISCIPLINARY GENERAL/ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONICS/AEROSPACE ENGINEER/OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST in the MISSION SYSTEM GROUP, AVIONICS ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, CORE AVIONICS ENGINEERING DIVISION, POSITION, NAVIGATION AND TIMEING OF NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional GENERAL/ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC/AEROSPACE ENGINEER/OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST performing the following duties; 1) Knowledge of GPS: Understands the structure of the GPS constellation; 2) Understands how Position, Velocity, Altitude and Timing are used for Navigation; 3) Knowledge of INS: Understands different types of navigation solutions; 4) Understands the use of Kalman Filters and their roles in the navigation solution: 5) Knowledge of Scented and Unscented, Tightly and loosely coupled Kalman Filters; 6) Knowledge of Military aircraft avionics architectures to include Hardware (WRAs), Software and Data Bus architectures (Must be able to read and understand schematics); 7) Experience in reviewing and understanding CDRLS and being able to perform traces back to requirements.
