Job Summary

You will serve as a Protocol Specialist in the EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR/COS FIRST SUBDIVISION of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying comprehensive knowledge of protocol principles, methods, practices, and techniques and of organizations within the federal government, Department of Defense, Department of Navy, and U.S. Fleet Forces Command. Experience applying comprehensive and detailed knowledge of protocol subtleties associated with international engagements to include sensitive cultural practices and procedures involved with traditional and formal diplomatic customs, courtesies, and etiquette. Experience applying comprehensive knowledge and skill for developing informational materials to include detailed itineraries, scripts, briefings, background papers, guest lists, historical participation and local organizational trends that directly support USFFC programs. Experience with understanding Official Representation Fund (ORF) policies and guidelines in acquiring ORF funds.
