Job Summary
You will serve as a DATA SCIENTIST in the MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND (MSC), CORPORATE OPERATIONS DIRECTORATE (N9) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
Job Description
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience facilitating development of policy, procedures, and practices for the management of data for the Commander Military Sealift Command on both unclassified and classified networks. Experience coordinating development, implementation, execution and sustainment of a Command Data Integration Plan. Experience collaborating and coordinating with command data owners to support command data integration and data analytics efforts, leveraging the command Data Analytics Environment (DAE) to aggregate and manage decision-quality data available for use in command visualization/dashboards. Experience coordinating and collaborating command Business Systems and Resource Managers to ensure integration of future business systems and to command data storage, access, security, and life cycle requirements are achieved. Experience developing metrics to support, track, and measure the progress of command data integration and data analytics initiatives. Mastery experience of data science, mathematics, statistical analysis, modeling and or simulation.
