You will serve as a MECHANICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the FACILITY AND INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying practical knowledge of the methods and techniques of engineering and construction, application of engineering principles, operations and limitations of engineering systems, processes, structures, machinery/equipment, devices and materials; 2) Testing, evaluating, or developing new or modified engineering systems; 3) Demonstrating knowledge of trouble shooting methods and preventative maintenance procedures for industrial equipment; and 4) Producing 3-D digital computer models and standard drawings using computer aided design and drafting system.
