Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: Problem Solving-Identifies and analyzes problems; weighs relevance and accuracy of information; seeks/generates and evaluates alternative perspectives/solutions; makes timely/effective recommendations, based on potential implications of findings or conclusions. Critically evaluates to identify the causes of problems, and chooses courses of action that balance the interests of the mission and stakeholders. Electrical Engineering Design-Knowledge of applying electrical theories, principles, practical concepts, processes, and systems related to the properties of matter and energy in the investigation of electrical phenomena; electrical circuits, circuit elements, equipment, and systems; traditional engineering science disciplines (e.g., mechanical, chemical, and civil) and physical science disciplines (e.g., chemistry and physics); and advanced mathematics, computer science, and economics. Engineering Project Management-Applies principles, methods, tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating, and managing engineering projects and resources, including technical performance. Information management- Identifies a need for and knows where or how to gather information; organizes and maintains information or information management systems. Determines its importance and accuracy, and communicates it by a variety of methods.
