Job Summary

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGER (Deputy Comptroller) in the Comptroller Group of COMFRC of Naval Air Systems Command Headquarters, Patuxent River MD.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and implementing effective financial processes and procedures consistent with applicable laws, regulations and policies (advanced financial management); 2) Analyzing financial data to provide valuable insights to command leadership (financial management and reporting analysis); 3) Developing accurate justifiable budget estimates and allocating financial resources effectively to meet command goals and strategy (financial stewardship); 4) Formulating and implementing initiatives to either mitigate current problems or advance the long-term interests of the organization (problem solving, strategic thinking).
