Job Summary

You will serve as an INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the TECHNICAL WORK DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT DIVISION of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST in Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, California.

Job Description

GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in the preparation of industrial logistics planning or workload planning documentation; 2) Supporting analysis of production requirements and workload demands; 3) Applying basic technical support, engineering technician support, or project coordination methods to assigned tasks supporting aircraft, components, or engines; and 4) Assisting with the development or interpretation of master rework plans, routers, or bills of materials for aircraft, components, or engines. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing industrial logistics planning and integration documents for the repair of new and prospective work load programs; 2) Understanding of production requirements and ensuring workload demands are met; 3) Applying technical support and project management principles, concepts, and methodology to a variety of assignments supporting aircraft, components, or engines; and 4) Interpreting developing master rework plans (routers/bills of materials) for aircraft, components, or engines.
