Job Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Budget Execution Branch of NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 through GS-14. The position has a control point equivalent to the GS-13, Step 10 level.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 (GS-5 TO GS-11 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Tracking, monitoring, and reconciling funding transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with fiscal controls; 2) Overseeing day-to-day funding execution activities, including reviewing funding actions for timeliness and adherence to established policies and procedures; 3) Leading or supervising funding or financial staff, including assigning work and reviewing completed products for accuracy: and 4) Preparing and maintaining funding status reports and documentation, identifying discrepancies or issues requiring correction or escalation.
