Job Summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the Life Cycle Technical Foundation Paper (TFP) Branch (N771A), Life Cycle Division (N771 ), Maintenance Engineering Planning Program (N77), Engineering Department (N7), of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
Job Description
(For GS-14) In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Resume must demonstrate the following specialized experience: Experience planning, managing, and coordinating with Life Cycle Stakeholders providing Subject Matter Expertise and management for implementing technical requirements, forecasted time and condition-based maintenance, approved or planned alterations, and support services required fora ship 's life cycle from delivery to disposal. Experience supporting the development of policy that addresses the mechanical, electrical, machinery control system, naval architectural and other technical planning issues that affect MSC ship systems and design. Experience conducting review of life cycle assessments for data driven recommendations for changes in vessel or industrial maintenance and repair requirements. Experience developing and instituting material condition forecasting for data informed industrial maintenance, repair and alteration execution.
