Job Summary
You will serve as a Supply Technician in the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Division of NAVSUP FLC SD GF.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized Supply Technician experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service procuring, monitoring and expediting the delivery of supplies, repair parts, equipment, and services to meet pre-determined schedules and priority needs. Specific work experience must demonstrate the following duties: 1) Conduct extensive searches for required information and provide supply support to meet urgent requirements for specialized or unique supplies, equipment, and material; 2) Apply an extensive knowledge of purchasing regulations (Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and DON Purchasing Card Program regulations), procedures, and business practices to make purchases involving specialized requirements; 3) Utilize knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies and procedures and local supply requirements and sources of supplies and services to ensure supply support for construction, renovation, and repair of facility operations requiring items with special handling instructions; and 4) Update, monitor, and maintain data in an automated supply database.
