Job Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER in the RESOURCE MANAGEMENT DIVISION (RM1) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying and analyzing budget and fiscal practice and policy, acquisition, administration of financial and material resources, and budget development pertaining to ship maintenance, repair and procurement. Experience making top-level executive decisions on courses of action for multiple ship classes and programs and adjusting available resources across multiple program requirements with far-reaching organizational implications. Experience effectively maintaining representation and liaison with appropriate components and senior leadership of sponsor organizations, other military commands, government agencies and private entities/commercial companies at the Flag/SES and Executive level. Experience leading complex studies utilizing the application of a wide range of analytical and evaluative techniques such as work measurement, task analysis, cost analysis, flow charting or work processes relating to commercial ship operations, construction, capabilities, and maintenance management procedures. Experience directing long range strategic planning activities and utilizing data analytics, knowledge management principles, and collaborative work environments to support organizational functions and continuous process improvement efforts. Experience developing and maintaining force generation, force generation models and life cycle maintenance plans of assigned ships that ensure maximum readiness through a combination of preventative maintenance, industrial assistance and commercial practices/relationships. Experience supervising and directing subordinate supervisors in the establishment of goals and objectives, work planning and organization, work assignments, and personnel management responsibilities.
