Job Summary

You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the C5I DIVISION (CODE 290), ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT (CODE 200) of the NAVAL SHIP REPAIR FACILITY. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing technical and engineering expertise on the AN/SQQ-89 SONAR Suite maintenance and operations for all ships assigned to/operating in the fleet AND experience providing technical and engineering services in the performance, operation, maintenance, Depot Level repair and modernization, system testing/ certification and Fleet Technical Support of assigned systems and sub-systems.
