You will serve as a Supervisory Naval Architect in the Engineering Department of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING GROTON.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-02 (GS-11) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer working with construction and repair of submarines sufficient to: advise on structural design methods; make final decisions to resolve work problems; identify and address both technical and administrative impacts regarding structural engineering and design programs; and implement continuous process improvement initiatives and mitigate technical risk ensuring milestones are met and stakeholders are engaged.
