Job Summary
You will serve as a Victim Advocate (SAPR) in the Fleet and Family Readiness Department of NAVSTA GTMO.
Job Description
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing sexual assault and sexual harassment victim advocacy services; 2) Developing and implementing crisis plans of actions and sexual assault assistance plans; and 3) Coordinating victim services (e.g. medical, legal, mental health, and investigative) with various agencies by applying knowledge of military, Department of Defense (DoD), the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Program, local, state, and federal laws, and military regulations pertaining to victims of sexual assault.
