Job Summary
You will serve as a BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Total Force Management (TFM), Business Management Division (N13B) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: - Experience in applying analytical and evaluative methods to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of N1 financial management operations, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions for workflow. - Experience in applying contracting guidelines, principles, concepts, and policies to provide technical direction to contractors as the COR of financial and internal database management systems. - Experience in managing complex procurement processes for specialized and commercial items by coordinating supplier engagement, negotiating terms under fluctuating market conditions, and ensuring timely acquisition despite supply chain constraints and critical delivery timelines. - Experience in reviewing purchase requests to ensure compliance with administrative policies and procedures, ensuring certification of funds are met, and ensuring specifications outlined by customer is clear and adequate before placing the order. - Experience in written and oral communication to prepare clear and accurate documentation, guidance, and reports related to organizational and administrative matters.
