You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Mission Systems Group, Logistics Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and implementing product support and maintenance concepts/requirements for assigned Avionics systems software to achieve program goals and objectives with minimum life cycle cost; 2) Determining best approach in planning and expending resources/funding to ensure adequate and affordable logistics support posture. 3) Identifying, planning and executing logistics efforts to ensure all aspects of the total systems life cycle (i.e. acquisition and sustainment) are in place to meet program requirements. 4) Developing and reviewing program technical documentation and providing input and direction on logistics/maintenance issues and requirements; 5) Critically evaluating the causes of support related problems and choosing appropriate courses of action that balance the interests of the program mission and the stakeholders; 6) Participating in risk management processes and early identification of system integration risks Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
