Job Summary
As a Senior Accounting and Finance Leader in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Financial Management and Comptroller), you will serve as a senior expert and strategic advisor for developing, implementing and monitoring Department of the Navy (DON) standard accounting business practices to ensure finance and accounting operations have established consistent internal policies and procedures.

Experience that demonstrates the ability to manage a large complex enterprise-wide change management initiative. Demonstrates ability and skill to communicate and brief high-level audiences, conduct independent research, present logical arguments, and convey findings in a succinct and compelling manner. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
