Job Summary
You will serve as a NUCLEAR ENGINNER in the Control; Engineering Division (Code 23330), Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department (Code 2300) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing technical instruction in Nuclear Engineer work involved in construction, overhaul, modifications, repair, refueling, and deconning of nuclear reactor plants, components, reactor plant material and manufacturing requirements. Experience preparing, reviewing and approving Technical Work Documents (TWD) and administrative documents in support of reactor plan procedures. Experience mentoring and teaching others. Experience directing nuclear engineering cradle to grave processes of naval vessel propulsion plant systems.
