Job Summary
You will serve as a Supervisory Industrial Specialist in the Waterfront Operations of FW DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET BAHRAIN.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Understanding how the mechanical and electrical system on the ship must operate independently and be integrated into the final overall test/inspection of the ship; 2) Managing complex systems aboard naval vessels and possessing the ability to coordinate work of all activities (i.e. private contractors, ship's force, AITs, etc.) to ensure systems are repaired in a timely manner; 3) Reviewing funds and accounting procedures promulgated by Navy Comptroller (NAVCOMPT) manuals to avoid misappropriation of funds; 4) Evaluating technical and complex problem areas that occur in the ship repair; and 5) Using automated information systems concepts, system capabilities and economic usage to effectively complete assignments.
