Job Summary
You will serve as a Security Specialist in the Mission Support Division, Code 123100 of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05-10 grade level or pay band (NO-02) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following duties: 1.) Leading Industrial Security compliance for all assigned NRL Contracts; 2.) Assisting in the preparation of comprehensive security guides for classified efforts; 3.) Developing and recommending procedures for the NRL Industrial Security Management Program; 4.) Assisting in the review and approval of classified scientific and technical knowledge or proper storage, handling and safeguarding of Controlled Unclassified and National Security Information; and 5.) Providing guidance to NRL personnel in regard to the security policies and procedures associated with the destruction of classified computer hardware and software.
