Job Summary
You will serve as an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER in the Lifting and Handling Technical Division (Code 710) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Job Description
GS-09 Grade level Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer providing technical support for the design or repair of electrical control systems on cranes or weight handling equipment to ensure assigned tasks are in accordance with plans and specifications. GS-07 Grade level Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer applying engineering theories, principles, or concepts for the design or repair of electrical control systems on cranes or weight handling equipment to ensure assigned tasks are in accordance with plans and specifications.
