Job Summary
You will serve as a Lead Program Analyst in the Strategic Supplier Management (SSM) of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying expert knowledge of supply chain management policies and procedures and providing cross-organizational and problem-solving support to the mission and supply operations of shore and afloat activities. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Setting priorities and determining project requirements and strategies to effectively monitor project progress and accomplish project goals and milestones; 2) Analyzing data, synthesizing results and developing courses of action to improve supply chain performance; 3) Coordinating with supply management teammates and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to resolve problems and enhance strategic opportunities; and 4) Utilizing interpersonal skills for delivering high caliber customer service and team collaboration and providing technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management.
