Job Description
Selective Placement Factor (SPF): This position has an SPF which is CURRENT registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) for the 0801 series, Architect (RA) for the 0808 series or for a Community Planner (0020), certification as an American Institute of Certified Planner (AICP) accreditation via the American Planning Association (APA) in any State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or Guam. NOTE: A copy of a wall certificate that does not have an expiration date will not serve to verify this requirement. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Applying planning criteria to execute and/or oversee Shore Infrastructure Planning to include regional, installation and area development plans; 2) Executing project planning documents, such as Military Construction (MILCON) and special project planning documentation (DD Form 1391), Basic Facility Requirements (BFRs), Asset Evaluations (AEs), Facility Planning Documents, (FPDs), and economic analyses; and 3) Providing technical references, guidance, training, and mentorship to colleagues and Public Works Department (PWD) staff.
