Job Summary
You will serve as a CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the PLANNING, DESIGN, AND CONSTRUCTION DIRECTORATE of NAVFAC NORTHWEST.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) overseeing a wide variety of functions to monitor and maintain progress, and ensure safe, high quality and timely completion of construction contracts within the approved project budget. 2) enforcing contract compliance with all contractual requirements regarding project delivery, project schedules, and time and cost management. 3) implementing of the government Quality Assurance (QA) Program; 4) conducting QA/QC coordination meetings, review and management of contractor performance through regular field surveillance and daily documentation procedures. 5) working with customers, contractors, designers, quality assurance, and NAVFAC personnel to determine appropriate direction and/or changes necessary to the contracts to provide the customer with fully functional facilities.
