Job Summary
You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (OA) in the Admin/Personnel Support Div, Admin Dept of RECRUIT TRAINING COMMAND. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following: 1) Utilizing computer systems and software to compose business letters, memoranda, directives, statistical and narrative reports, endorsements, messages and forms; 2) Utilizing Microsoft Office software to create recurring reports manage electronic mail communications, spreadsheets, and calendars; 3) Communicating effectively providing customer service to staff personnel and visitors, sharing information orally and in writing; and 4) Providing technical and administrative support of personnel processes, including official correspondence, performance evaluations, awards, directives and records management, pay and personnel processes and record maintenance.
