You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the COMMANDER, LOGISTICS GROUP WESTERN PACIFIC of LOGISTICS GROUP WESTPAC .

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge of measures and controls to deny unauthorized persons electronic, logical, and physical access to information; 2) Applying knowledge of determining the organization's ability to work with and store classified and sensitive information; 3) Managing security equities (e.g., strategic, personnel, infrastructure, policy enforcement, emergency planning, and other resources) for a program or other area of responsibility; 4) Applying knowledge of special operating requirements, methods, equipment, and procedures for enforcing access controls and preventing unauthorized access to areas where security requirements are enforced; 5) Identifying Authorized or Unauthorized Permits (e.g., Common Access Card); and 6) Utilizing experience with the Defense Travel System as well as the application of laws, policies, regulations, principles, standards, systems, and procedures (e.g., Joint Travel Regulations, Joint Federal Travel Regulations, the Defense Travel System, Travel Charge Card) to travel management.
