Job Summary
You will serve as an Information Security Specialist in support of the Communications and Information Directorate (N6), Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMPACFLT) of MARITIME OPERATIONS CENTER. The position is located at COMPACFLT Administrative Site (CPF Annex) at Aliamanu Military Reservation (AMR), Pearl Harbor. This position will report directly to the Technical Director, COMPACFLT Administrative Site (CPF Annex).
Job Description
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Comprehensive knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes to assess and manage cybersecurity risks for enterprise networks and legacy systems; expertise in planning and managing system design changes to ensure secure configurations and operational readiness; proven program management skills, including resource control and coordination with Navy enterprise organizations and cybersecurity workforce to meet DoD mandates; proficiency in identifying and resolving cybersecurity configuration issues, implementing risk mitigation solutions, and maintaining system integrity and availability. Examples of Qualifying Experience may include managing Information Assurance (IA) programs, developing cybersecurity plans, coordinating incident responses, ensuring compliance with DoD/Navy Cyber Tasking Orders, and supporting vulnerability management and system recovery in a Department of Navy or similar DoD environment.
