You will serve as a ARCHEOLOGIST in the NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND MARIANAS.

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of the National Historic Preservation Act and other environmental and preservation laws to plan and manage a cultural resources program for an installation; 2) Working on archaeological resources issues related to facilities planning, construction, and operations for an installation; 3) Interpreting and implementing existing and proposed federal programs, policies, laws, and regulations regarding cultural resources; 4) Evaluating proposed facilities and/or projects against cultural resources compliance requirements.
