Job Summary

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the ACCOUNTING DIVISION COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.

Job Description

NT-03: In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower band, NT-02 (GS-05/08 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing professional accounting work that requires the application of accounting theories concepts, principles and standards for use in the analysis and processing of accounting/financial data. NT-04: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional accountant interpreting laws and regulations to analyze and audit accounting/financial data to manage and reconcile accounts for an organization.
