You will be responsible for performing the full range of human resources management duties and responsibilities required of this position for organizations assigned.
Job Description
GS-12 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted). You may qualify at the GS-0201-12 level, if you fulfill one of the following qualifications: Specialized Experience: One year of full-time specialized work experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service performing duties such as: 1) Interpreting and applying Federal rules and regulations related to delegated examining operations and applying veterans' preference; 2) Coaching and mentoring Human Resources assistants in recruitment and placement; 3) Providing strategic advice and guidance to management regarding recruitment, hiring, compensation, and retention strategies; and 4) Assisting with drafting policies, procedures and/or guidance for human resources programs related to staffing, recruitment, and placement. Additionally, a special qualification will be considered in the evaluation of eligibles for certification. A Quality Ranking Factor (QRF) is expected to enhance performance in this position; it will not be used to screen out applicants. Delegated Examining (DE) Certification is a special qualification needed for this position. IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC.
