Job Summary

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Comptroller Department (N8), Dispersing, Travel, and Payroll Division (N84), Disbursing and Payroll (N841), and Disbursing (N8411) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND.

Job Description

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience processing or analyzing disbursing financial returns and statements. Experience performing Disbursing Processing functions and duties such as responding to incoming requests and keeping customers informed by providing a proactive status update. Experience reporting and entering deposits, collections, disbursements, and checking information in the DFAS Disbursing System of record. Experience reviewing and evaluating budget requests and formulating budgets and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities. Experience tracking and controlling of funds for special programs, analytical or program work pertaining to payroll, cash control or benefit systems.
